Hamburg Airport Terminal 2

Though being called Terminal 2, Hamburg airport Terminal 2 was opened in 1993, which makes it the oldest terminal of the airport. It is the main hub for major airline companies such as Eurowings, Germanwings and Lufthansa of the Star Alliance.

In total, there are more than 55 airlines serving the airport.

Transfer between terminals

Both terminals are connected by the Airport Plaza. Luggage reclaim area is located throughout the lower levels of the three buildings. Additionally, there is a free shuttle bus between terminals.

Levels

Both terminals have the same structure regarding the Terminal building levels. The whole four-level passenger terminal complex formed by them is formal called SkyWorld:

- Level 0: Arrivals

- Level 1: Departures

- Level 2: Concessions and services

- Level 3: Concessions and services
